Left Arch
The arch is framed by miniature at-chala shrines with parrots on the roof and containing Krishna and gopis. Above, Rama and Ravana on makara chariots face each other across the arch finial which is composed of several kalasas, surmounted by a chakra. The rest of the arch panel is filled with rows of warriors separated by horizontal bands. Two lotus medallions interrupt these figures. >> |
