Turret Arches These arches are similar to entrance arches on the south and north side of the main temple. Miniature shrines follow the arched contour. The space above the arch is filled with large and small roundels and birds with large tails. Birds also occupy the triangular panels below the cornice. The narrow columns flanking the arches are reminiscent of mihrab frames.
