Corner Elements The corners of the temple have a sculptural arrangement that is distinct from the rest of the walls. Rows of plaques set in different planes are divided by horizontal mouldings decorated with scrollwork, petals, crisscross patterns. Each row has seven tiles on each side of the corner and each tile has an image of a warrior marching towards the corner. At the top, just below the cornice is a triangular panel, containing sculptures of large fantastic horses.
