Reused Panel
A fragment from a Hindu temple, possibly a ceiling panel, is reused here as the base frieze. The images (not removed here) are of the dashavatara with matsya at the extreme left. In the absence of any extant temples from the pre-Muslim Pala-Sena period, these fragments are the few examples of Hindu sculpture from this period that exist outside a museum.
